This well-known work of a Scottish theologian and preacher Matthew George Easton (1823-1894) is a classic source for Bible scholars. The dictionary provides excellent background information on a variety of Biblical topics, containing nearly 4,000 entries, some of which are short, dictionary-like entries on words, people, and places, while others are longer, almost encyclopedic accounts. Being published in 1897, Easton's is written from a 19th century Christian viewpoint and is best used along with the KJV Bible.
This edition has been enhanced by adding articles from other Bible dictionaries.
DISCLAIMER While this edition offers elegant formatting and excellent navigation with active cross-links between the articles, it will not work as a dictionary on Fire and apps on PC, iPad and Android tablets.

If you order this item you will spend all of your time trying to find the words you are searching for. There are no hyperlinks in the table of contents or the index. You have to page through to find your word and the word that is defined is not bolded or italicized to make your search easier. My advice is to use the $3.00 toward the purchase of a dictionary that you will use.
Not easy to find specific words, but once you're there, it's worth the trip. Considering the cost, it is a good tool.
